Lonnie Snowden, father of the elusive NSA leaker Edward Snowden, said in a television interview on Friday that he is confident his son would return to the U.S. under certain conditions.
Papa Snowden claimed his lawyer has sent a letter to U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder saying that his son would probably return if the government promised not to hold him before trial and not to impose a gag order. Also relevant: Lonnie has apparently not spoken to Edward since April. So much for insider information. Read more here.
