A near brush with death took place today for one passenger of a Southwest flight heading out of Philadelphia today.

The flight was leaving for takeoff when an explosion in one of the engines caused shrapnel to burst everywhere. One piece of debris hit a window, causing it to shatter and nearly suck a passenger out of the moving plane!

Fellow passengers saved the day, however, managing to drag the woman in and save her life. The woman was unharmed and all the passengers were able to disembark safely.

  1. This is not as bad as United Airlines knocking out a paying passengers teeth and dragging him on the floor like a dead carcass.
