Sprint May Acquire T-Mobile, Leaving America With 3 Major Carriers

cell-phoneWith T-Mobile’s majority owner, Deutsche Telekom AG, planning to leave the U.S., Sprint may have a go at acquiring the mobile company, according to a Wall Street Journal report.

If the deal goes through, Americans would be left with only three major mobile carriers: Verizon, AT&T, and Sprint. The acquisition bid would amount to about $20 billion and would be presented in the first half of 2014. It is unclear whether the deal would go through, however-a previous bid by AT&T to acquire T-Mobile failed. Read more at Technology Tell.

  1. So dreck is merging with garbage! They are both the worst of the worst! They NEVER have reception when you need it! You clearly get what you pay for. Even the cheap “Medicaid” phones have better reception!
