MK Mossi Raz of Meretz has called for halt to the use of skunk water at chareidi and Arab demonstrations.
“The use of excessive force and controversial means such as skunk water is fundamentally wrong and disproportionate, especially in the heart of a residential neighborhood,” Raz said. “The use of skunk water constitutes collective punishment against protesters.”
“Evidence collected by the Association for Civil Rights shows that the use of this means around chareidi demonstrations and in chareidi neighborhoods is often made without sufficient distinction between passersby and bystanders and rioters,” he added. “In recent instances, skunk water was used in crowded areas populated by children and families, sometimes when the circumstances and the severity of the disturbances did not justify the use of such an extreme measure, contrary to regulations.”
Raz noted that skunk water was used 82 times this year in various Arab locations and at chareidi protests in Yerushalayim.

He’s worried about the Arabs not the chareidim
Do the police use this same stink water on the Arabs?
From the text it seems that they do.
And yes, it smells VERY bad.
No, and neither does the Zionist government use it against chilonim n Tel Aviv and other cities.
I agree
they should stop this
Water or bullets? The answer is clear. Our government is doing a חסד.
Follow the regulations and be fine.
Be happy that you don’t live in the United States. Be very happy.
In the US where they allow smash and grabs and do nothing about it, this would never happen.
When they use this skunk water there’s zero they accomplish. There are no less Hafganos. It just smells up the whole city to a terrible degree; it is a terrible way of being mevazeh yerushalayim. Literally spraying it with garbage.
Said perfectly.
maybe if the skunks stop demonstrating all the time, the skunk water will stop.
Demonstrating is their legal right.
Legal right? Are you still a American? Please move to Israel! Save ur family and breathe the air of Israel, it’s different than what you have. The train has left the station.
I would love to move to Israel but your country has slammed the door shut in our faces.
Legal demonstration with a permit is their legal right
