A major winter storm that is not yet over has already left devastation in its wake, shutting schools, grounding flights, and closing the federal government in Washington, DC.
The next two days could see 12 to 18 more inches of snow according to the National Weather Service. Roughly 4,470 domestic and international flights were canceled, as possibly historic levels of snow and ice hit everywhere from North and South Carolina to the DC region.
