Al-Maza Airport in Syria was hit by by airstrikes earlier tonight. While reports have alleged that Israel was behind the airstrike, there has been no word from military officials.

Five missiles were fired at ammunition depots at the Al Mezzeh military airport just miles away from Damascus. The target were possibly a load of short-range Fateh-110 missiles that had recently arrived in Syria, and possibly an Iranian cargo plane that had been delivering supplies for several days on the Tehran-Damascus route.

Most of the targets were destroyed.
