Syria Says Air Defenses ‘Thwarted Israeli Air Strikes’ In Country’s South

Syria’s state broadcasters said Sunday afternoon that military air defenses “thwarted Israeli air strikes” in the country’s south.

The air defense systems “prevented Israeli air strikes from achieving their objectives in the south” of the country, the report said without giving further details

.Israel has acknowledged striking thousands of targets in Syria, including Iranian military positions or weapons caches destined for the Lebanese terror group Hezbollah.
