
Rav Simcha Hakohein Kook, rov of the city of Rehovot, has been hospitalized this weekend.
Rav Kook, who is 92, felt unwell and was hospitalized at Shaarei Tzedek Hospital in Yerushalayim, where he was found to be suffering from pneumonia and having difficulty breathing.
Rav Kook has served as rov of the city of Rechovot for decades, in addition to serving as rov of the Chruva Shul in the Jewish Quarter of Yerushalayim and nosi of Yeshiva Maor Hatalmud.
In recent years, he has weakened and his condition has had ups and downs.
All are asked to daven for Rav Simcha ben Baila Rochel.
