All are asked to daven for a refuah sheleimah for Rav Yaakov Busel, the beloved rosh yeshiva of Yeshiva Rabbeinu Yaakov Yosef of Edison, NJ.
Doctors found growths and the rosh yeshiva is in need of rachamei Shomayim.
Rav Busel leads the Edison Yeshiva together with his longtime shutaf, Rav Chaim Yosef Eichenstein.
Rav Busel’s first rebbetzin, Rasia a”h, was a daughter of Rav Boruch Sorotzkin, rosh yeshiva of Telshe Yeshiva in Cleveland.
His wife is Rebbetzin Esther Busel.
Rav Busel’s children are all noted marbitzei Torah and bnei Torah. His son, Rav Betzalel, a son-in-law of Rav Avrohom Ausband, rosh yeshiva of Yeshiva of Telshe Alumni of Riverdale, is rosh yeshiva of Yeshiva Gedolah Torah Temimah.
There will be an atzeres tefillah as a zechus of Rav Busel tonight, at 7:45 p.m., at Bais Medrash L’Torah of Lakewood, located at 613 Madison Avenue in Lakewood. Divrei hisorerus will be delivered by Rav Busel’s brother-in-law, Rav Yitzchok Sorotzkin, rosh yeshiva of Mesivta of Lakewood, and Rav Yisroel Neuman, rosh yeshiva of Beth Medrash Govoah. Tehillim will follow at approximately 8:30 p.m.
