All are asked to take a moment to say Tehillim as a zechus for Rav Yehudah Kelemer, rov of Young Israel of West Hempstead, NY, who was hit by a car this evening.
The accident occurred in front of the shul where Rav Kelemer has served as the mara d’asra since 1983.
The driver who hit the rov sped off.
Rav Kelemer was taken to Winthrop-University Hospital, where surgery is being performed tonight.
All are asked to daven for Yehudah ben Rivkah Leah.
A humble and brilliant man, a veteran of the rabbinate and a guide to numerous individuals and families, Rav Kelemer, a musmach of Yeshivas Mir Yerushalayim, has served with distinction as a rov, morah horaah, and mentor for decades. May he have a refuah sheleimah.
