An attempted stabbing attack was thwarted at the Ammunition Hill light rail station in northeastern Yerushalayim this evening.
The sole attacker attacked a light rail security guard, who shot her in the leg, the police added. No victims were injured.
“The female suspect was neutralized on the spot by the light rail security guard and is currently in light condition,” the statement read.
Police Commissioner Kobi Shabtai arrived at the scene, which is located across the road from the National Police Headquarters. JNS
