-Multiple videos and photos below- At least 15 people have been hurt in a Yerushalayim bus blast. At least two people were injured seriously.
The blast took place on the number 12 bus in Yerushalayim. The back of the bus is currently ablaze.
The incident took place on Derech Moshe Baram. The injured are being taken to Shaare Tzedek Medical Center.
The bus that exploded, Bus#12, appears to have been empty. The explosion initiated in the back of the bus and the fire then spread to vehicles nearby.
This has not been called a terrorist attack just yet. Police are investigating.
Update, 6:22 p.m. IL: The blast took place at about 5:45 p.m. at Chevron Road and Moshe Baram Street in the Talpiot neighborhood.
When the the bus exploded, another bus behind it and a car also caught fire.
Police are not calling it an explosion, not a terrorist act, as the nature of the blast and the injuries are divergent from those seen at the scene of terrorist attacks.
There is a possibility that the source of the explosion was the engine of the bus.
The majority of the injuries were due to smoke inhalation, burns and broken glass. The bus that blew up was empty. Those who were injured were in the adjacent bus.
