An Israeli was stabbed in his upper body on Rechov Ma’aleh Haldaya in Yerushalayim’s Old City this afternoon, Erev Shabbos.
Shortly before 2 p.m. emergency services were called to the alleys near Shaar Yaffo to assist an individual who sustained stab wounds to his upper back, in what turned out to be a terrorist attack.
Paramedics provided first aid to a 28-year-old Chareidi man and then transported him to Shaarei Tzedek hospital.
Police canvassed the area for the terrorist, who had fled into a nearby bakery, and police arrested all employees of the store.
Ultimately, the terrorist was ID’d with the Old City’s surveillance system.
