A terrifying incident shook the city of Lucerne, Switzerland, on Shabbos afternoon, when an Arab man armed with a knife attempted to stab nine yeshiva students while shouting “Pro-Palestine” slogans. The students, who were from the local yeshiva, managed to escape unharmed. The attacker fled the scene before police arrived.
The incident took place around 8:30 p.m. local time, as the bochurim were walking through the city during the long summer Shabbos before heading back to seudah shlishis in the yeshiva. One of the bochurim described the ordeal, saying that the group had stepped out to enjoy the mountain air when they were suddenly attacked near the central train station.
The attacker reportedly lunged at one of the students, attempting to stab him in the stomach, while shouting pro-Palestinian slogans and anti-Jewish slurs. The commotion drew attention from bystanders, and as a crowd began to gather, the attacker fled the scene.
Police arrived shortly afterward and began collecting security camera footage and witness testimonies. However, the bochurim declined to sign any statements or travel to the police station until after Shabbos. Authorities later informed them that since Swiss police do not operate on Sundays, they would have to wait until Monday morning to formally file the complaint. Meanwhile, the suspect remains at large and may have already fled the country.
This shocking event has caused deep concern among the Jewish community in Lucerne, especially given Switzerland’s reputation for neutrality and relative calm. “Switzerland has experienced very few terror attacks in recent years,” noted a local resident, “which is why the shock and fear in the city—and especially among the chareidi community—is so great.”

This is a warning to Jews all over the world. Stop supporting the Erev Rav who are instigating the nations with endless wars in our name.
Why would an Arab attack a yeshiva student if they never will serve in the military? Makes no sense!
Have a nice day
