Menachem Ordman, the Israeli man who survived today’s terrorist shooting attack in northern Samaria, shared his harrowing experience, describing how the assailants attempted to murder him “at point blank range.”
“I stopped the car at the Efes Junction to talk on the phone because there is no reception anywhere in that area. After a minute or two, a white car came and went in front of me. The back window, which was black, was opened, an M16 weapon was pulled out and began shooting. Somehow I realize that I am still alive by a miracle, by miracles. I took out my gun and started returning fire. Suddenly I heard them say in Arabic that it was time to leave,” recounted Ordman from his hospital bed, according to Arutz Sheva.
He further expressed his call for action: “I call on the Israeli government to block all the crossings that the Palestinians and the terrorists have to drive there on the axis, and to launch an operation to eliminate terrorism in the northern Samaria region, which has become the Wild West. I miraculously got out alive, but two weeks ago Meir was murdered. We don’t want any more similar stories.”
Ordman recently learned that he would be taking on the role of military security coordinator for the community of Mevo Dotan.
Yossi Dagan, Chairman of the Samaria Regional Council, emphasized the need for action, saying, “Menachem, a father of five, survived by a miracle. We are not ready to continue relying on miracles, not ready to continue escorting widows and orphans to the cemeteries. We demand an offensive operation to collect the weapons in the terrorist Palestinian Authority now and demand the return of the checkpoints. He who opened the checkpoint has our blood on his hands. We will not continue to be z-class citizens in our own country.”
The IDF Spokesperson provided an update, stating that the condition of two of the three soldiers injured during the pursuit of the terrorists has improved.
In related news, the spokesperson announced, “Four IDF soldiers were injured earlier today during an exchange of fire, after they chased the terrorist vehicle from which the shooting near the Reihan Crossing in the Menasha Brigade area was carried out. Three were lightly injured and one moderately. The injured were evacuated to receive medical treatment at the hospital and their families were informed.”
The spokesperson also confirmed that IDF forces are actively blocking roads in the area and continuing the pursuit of the terrorists. Initial investigations revealed that the terrorists initially targeted the vehicle of the Israeli citizen and later attacked a military vehicle containing soldiers from the paratrooper brigade. Despite their injuries, the soldiers bravely returned fire while pursuing the terrorists’ vehicle, even setting it on fire before it managed to escape.
A manhunt is currently underway to locate the shooters.

Did unelected democrats Jake Sullivan and Antony Blinken apologize for inciting the Palestinian terrorists against the Jewish people?
“Menachem, a father of five, survived by a miracle. We are not ready to continue relying on miracles…We will not continue to be z-class citizens in our own country.”
B”H, he survived, but their idolatry seems to be clouding their perception of reality. Their choice to live in the most hostile to Jews area on the planet seems to indicate that they do indeed intend to continue to rely on miracles; may Hashem keep all His children safe.
Also, they are not quite living in their “own country”; they are living in, as per official Zionist terminology, “disputed territory”.
Rav Shach held that living in the territories was “hisgarus gasa baUmos haOlam”. That means that they should not live there.
