i24 News – A man was moderately wounded today after being stabbed on a bus in the Yerushalayim neighborhood of Ramot.
An eyewitness said the victim, a 41-year-old man, was attacked with a screwdriver while riding on a bus traveling down Golda Meir Boulevard.
A civilian shot the suspected terrorist before Israeli police arrived on the scene.
Paramedics found the victim lying on the sidewalk next to the bus, conscious but bleeding from his upper body. He was provided with life-saving medical care and evacuated to an intensive care unit at Shaare Zedek Hospital in Yerushalayim, paramedics said.
He was suffering from several stab wounds to his upper body, but is in stable condition now, Shaare Zedek spokesman Yossi Gottesman said.

“A civilian shot the suspected terrorist before Israeli police arrived on the scene.
Did he have the proper permits for the gun and was the gun purchased legally? Was he a white male or was he a person of color? Was the gun apprehended and arrested yet?
PA President Mahmoud Abbas released a statement on the incident today saying as follows:
“The international community must see to it that we are given the exact same freedoms that others are given in their respective countries.”
“When an innocent Palestinian can’t even carry a screwdriver with him on a bus without getting shot, it’s time to take action and to immediately call for the establishment of a Democratic Palestinian state that will respect the rights of all people to carry screwdrivers, tape measures, sandpaper, crazy glue, construction goggles, hammers, knives, axes, guns and all forms of hardware and carpentry tools, with them on public busses.”
“If you are in the carpentry or construction business, you mustn’t ever feel fearful of carrying the tools of your trade with you on a public bus.”
very sad
Why didn’t he put the monster to sleep?
Did the UN condemn Israel that this innocent Arab from Ramallah was gunned down? I mean all he did was stab someone: like big deal! And for that he gets shot!!!
Please daven for a Refuah Sheleima for Eliezer ben Liba.
