The Israeli army said a terrorist was killed while attacking an Israeli soldier near Ramallah with a hammer and a rock according to Israeli media early Thursday, i24 News reports.
The IDF said that that the assailant attacked soldiers during routine operations outside of Bitin, just miles from Ramallah.
A knife was later found on the Palestinian’s body, the military said. The incident left the soldier lightly wounded with no need to be hospitalized, bechasdei Hashem.
