Outspoken Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick says Anthony Fauci “doesn’t know what he’s talking about” when it comes to his state’s reopening plan and suggested the head of the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases had been “wrong every time” about the coronavirus pandemic.

“Fauci said that he’s concerned about states like Texas that skipped over certain things. He doesn’t know what he’s talking about,” Patrick said on Fox News after Fauci testified before a Senate committee that more than 50% of new infections in Texas, Florida, California and Arizona are in areas where there are surges.

“He has been wrong every time, on every issue. I don’t need his advice anymore. We’ll listen to a lot of science, we’ll listen to a lot of doctors, and [Gov. Greg Abbott (R)], myself and other state leaders will make the decision. No thank you, Dr. Fauci.”

  1. Dr. Facci is One of the reason why people lost trust in science and the medical community.

    It’s all politics!

He nor his colleagues care about people!

    • I respectfully disagree.

I dont think Dr. Fauci did anything wrong.

I think the wrong is done by those who BELIEVE IN SCIENCE IN THE FIRST PLACE.

We tend to think we have all the answers, but the truth is we have such a limited knowledge, anything new sends us scrambling.

Of course we must do our part, we must try to scientifically understand everything we can. But let us not forget how fickle we really are.

In that light, Dr. Fauci is absolutely in the right. He gave advice based on the best available information. I see no evidence of political bias.

  2. Governor Dan Patrick:- I agree with you. I wish Fauci would once & for all fade into the oblivion and get lost for ever.
