Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick is offering up to $1 million to incentivize and reward people who report voter fraud, with anyone providing information leading to an arrest and conviction to get a minimum of $25,000.

“I support President (Donald) Trump’s efforts to identify voter fraud in the presidential election and his commitment to making sure that every legal vote is counted and every illegal vote is disqualified,” Patrick posted on his website. “President Trump’s pursuit of voter fraud is not only essential to determine the outcome of this election, it is essential to maintain our democracy and restore faith in future elections.

The money to reward tipsters would come from Patrick’s campaign fund, which had almost $15.5 million at the end of June, reports the Austin-American Statesman.

    • Well lets see one alleged whistleblower turned out to be a convicted sex offender; other recanted and recanted the recantation, making his testimony useless; a third is James O’Keefe, famous for doctoring videos….What could go wrong here?

      • So someone who has a criminal conviction could never have witnessed a crime such as ballot tampering? What if they were sent 5 ballots?
The “recanting witness” didnt recant. He said he never recanted despite a news article falsely saying he did.
And Okeefe- have a professional look at the original tape and you can see if it was doctored
