The Gaavad Visits Rav Lefkowitz

Today, Rav Yitzchok Tuvia Weiss, Gaon Av Bais Din of the Eidah Hachareidis, traveled from Yerushalayim to Bnei Brak to pay a visit to Rav Michel Yehudah Lefkowitz, rosh yeshiva of Yeshivas Ponovezh L’tzeirim. During the visit at Rav Lefkowitz’s home, the two rabbonim discussed various issues currently affecting the klal and exchanged words of Torah.

As reported here earlier in the year, Rav Michel Yehudah Lefkowitz, this year, is no longer giving shiurim at Ponovezh after 50 years of doing so. Rav Lefkowitz continues to be present in the yeshiva each day, but no longer deliver his daily shiur.
