It’s been a busy day in the primary races for the presidential nomination for the Republican and Democrat primaries. But the focus, above all, is on delegates.
With partial results for Kansas included, the Washington Post and Fox News place Donald Trump in the lead with 347 delegates and Ted Cruz with 267. Marco Rubio is far behind 116 delegates and John Kasich trails the field with 28.
Cruz will get at least 36 for the Kansas and Maine GOP caucuses, Trump will garner at least 18, Rubio will nab 6 and Kasich 3.
1,237 delegates are needed to claim the GOP nomination for president.
