The NFL plans to have the song “Lift Every Voice and Sing” — known as the Black national anthem — performed live or played before every game in Week 1 of the NFL season, a source familiar with the league’s discussions told CNN on Thursday.

According to the source, “Lift Every Voice and Sing” will be played before “The Star-Spangled Banner.” This will begin with the nationally televised first game of the season, which is on September 10, when the defending Super Bowl champions, the Kansas City Chiefs, host the Houston Texans.

Additionally, the source says that the league is working collaboratively with players to recognize victims of systemic racism throughout the season.

  1. I have a few honest questions:
A)Why isn’t this discrimination against every other race, doesn’t every race deserve to have an anthem?
B)Will they kneel during the black anthem to protest all the blacks murdered by fellow blacks (97% of blacks are killed by blacks)
    C) By playing the black anthem before the national anthem imply that the american belief that “all people were created equal” is only equal secondary after the black race?

ON # 3 The whole point of BLM is that black is a superior race. In any case I want Hatikva played before every game. OK not for Shabbos
