The Tehillim Miracle of the Yerushalayim Bombing Survivor

A sexagenarian survivor of last week’s bombings in Yerushalayim is grateful to be alive, showing visitors at the hospital a Sefer Tehillim that he had on his person at the time of the attack, as he was en route home from Meron. Shrapnel penetrated the sefer of Dovid Hamelech’s hymns…

….but it came to halt with the words: “Nafsheinu k’tzipor nimlitah mipach yokshim, hapach nisbar va’anachnu nimlatnu – Our soul escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: the snare is broken, and we escaped” (Tehillim 124:7).
