      • Bli neder I will post the exact Simanim later, but know, that the fact we play instruments and listen (myself included) to music is only according to one understanding of the takonas CHaZa”L of zeicher l’churban. The reason we don’t do this during the three weeks and the sefirah is because during those days the minhag is to be strict like the other opinion. Rav Moshe Feinstein ztzvk”l, in his teshuvos, clearly writes the halachah is like the strict, narrower opinion. Whether the venue is considered Jerusalem as far as the additional minhag of not playing music there is questionable.

I wish them much hatzlachah, but there is something to think about.

    • Agreed. Concerts are a waste of time and change nothing. Hype for nothing. Like something spiritual is happening. All stupid of stupidity.

    • Maybe this is a message from Hashem that concerts are not his will even if they are “kosher”?

And maybe it isn’t. Why should I assume that a few anti-Torah activists are unknowingly spreading Hashem’s message?

    • Beautiful to see such achdus and ahavas Yisroel shining through your comment. Keep it up! Will be a great zechus for you and your family for the upcoming Yemei Hadin…..

      • And you can keep your head buried deep in the sand. Keep brushing everything under the carpet. No criticism is ever allowed. You are a classic bully abuser.

  1. AND WHEN YHEY GO MAKING ‘THOSE’ PARADES AND WE HAVE TO FIGHT IT, MAYBE ITS HASHEMS C’V WILL THAT THOSE PARADES AND EVERYTHING GOING WITH IT IS HASHEMS WILL??!!

    • Reb Moshe writes that he is saying not like the Remoh, who paskens that its mutar to listen to music as long as its not with wine, and that the Rashi the Remoh based his psak on only said it on the hava amina in the gemora. But that Rashi agrees with the Rambam that l’maskana there is an issur to listen to music all year. So Reb Moshe clear says that the Remoh holds its mutar to listen to music, and this is what the world goes with.
