A fourth law enforcement officer who responded to the Capitol on Jan. 6 has died by suicide, the Metropolitan Police Department confirmed to The Hill on Monday.

A department spokesman said Officer Kyle DeFreytag, who had been with the department since November 2016, was found dead on July 10. He was 26 years old. Police confirmed DeFreytag was among a host of MPD officers who were sent to the Capitol in response to the riot.

The news comes on the same day that  MPD officials confirmed a third police officer death by suicide in the wake of the riot. Earlier on Monday, it was reported that Gunther Hashida was found dead in his home Thursday.

  1. Assuming the January 6th led him to suicide then the Capital police really need to rethink their hiring processes.

As it is police men have the highest suicide rate for any profession in the US ( 50% higher than the national average) The capital police are not mall cops. If so many of them are incapable of dealing with something like a mob attacking the capital they desperately need to retest their employees for competence.

    Lives are at stake.

    • Don’t be so naive? They got suicided by the DS. Remember how many were suicided by the Clintons? The elite criminals aren’t done yet.

  2. I’m no conspiracy theorist but I smell a rat. Four Police Officer Who Responded To Jan. 6 committed suicide?

That is a LOT of suicides. Maybe it wasn’t suicide. Maybe he just wasn’t going along with the insurrection story….

There were too many unnatural deaths associated with January 6th for me to still believe the official narrative . Four healthy people died of sudden “medical emergencies” that night. They lied to us for months telling us that Officer Sicknick was beaten to death. Then they told us he was killed with bear spray, Finally they admit it was a stroke…

    • Good point. Yeh, it’s the same way Vince Foster committed suicide. The same way Seth Rich committed suicide. So did I. I don’t buy it.

  3. Keep moving along, people. Nothing to see here. We the faceless bureaucrats pinky-swear that there is no cover-up of any sort whatsoever.
