HaRav Shmuel Kamenetsky shlit”a asked, “Is the mitzvah of V’ahavta L’reiacha Kamocha too demanding for us??”
This Tisha B’Av, acquire practical tools to improve in the area of loving your fellow Jew as you love yourself. Your life will and the lives of others will be changed forever.
Join over 50,000 people in 700 locations, in 16 countries around the world, who have all come to trust Chofetz Chaim Heritage Foundation to bring them a quality presentation that lasts throughout the year.
It’s no mystery. Hashem tells us clearly how He wants the Jewish people to live, as families, as neighbors, and as friends- with love.
And not just with love, but with a love so expansive that the needs and cares of others matter as much to us as do our personal concerns.
Along with this mitzvah comes a promise: When Klal Yisrael comes together in the way the Torah prescribes, Hashem will build Himself a home and come to live among us again. Our Galus will end.
This Tisha B’Av, the annual Chofetz Chaim Heritage Foundation World-Wide Event focuses on the single mitzvah most vital to bringing Klal Yisrael out of galus. “V’ahavta l’reiacha kamocha: The Blueprint for Rebuilding the Bais Hamikdash,” explores this seemingly simple yet elusive mitzvah, and reveals a system anyone can use to take major strides in the right direction.
The world-wide event, bringing together 50,000 Jews, is itself a testimony to the power of ahavas Yisrael. With two programs, each featuring some of the most inspiring speakers in Klal Yisrael, the event will tap into this powerful achdus and motivate Jews around the world to embrace “V’ahavta l’reiacha kamocha” as never before.
Program A features: HaGaon HaRav Yitzchok Sorotzkin shlit”a, Rosh Yeshivah at Mesivta of Lakewood and Telshe, and a prolific talmid chacham and mechaber sefarim on all areas of Torah; Rabbi Ephraim Eliyahu Shapiro shlit”a, rav of Shaaray Tefillah of North Miami Beach and internationally-acclaimed speaker who inspires thousands each day with his Shmiras Haloshon Yomi shiurim; and Rabbi Fishel Schachter shlit”a, Va’ad Hanhalah of Yeshivah Mevakshei Hashem, popular Chazak speaker, and widely-acclaimed lecturer.
Program B features: Rabbi Moshe Weinberger shlit”a, who has served as mashpia in Yeshivas Rabbeinu Yitzchok Elchonon since 2013 and is the founding Mara d’Asra of Congregation Aish Kodesh in Woodmere, N.Y.; Rabbi Zecharia Wallerstein, founder and director of Ohr Naava, Ateres Naava and Bnot Chaya Academy for girls, and a dynamic speaker who inspires audiences world-wide; and Mr. Michael Rothschild, prodigious director of the Chofetz Chaim Heritage Foundation.
With words chosen to reach across the globe and inspire a new commitment to ahavas Yisrael, these speakers aim to make this Tisha B’Av a turning point. The blueprint is right in front of us, as well as the tools we need. When Hashem sees His children living with each other in peace and unity, He will be ready to rebuild His home once more.
This Tisha B’Av, b’ezras Hashem, construction will begin.
