To understand the impact of Mifal, one had to spend just a few moments at the annual mesibah, held this Rosh Chodesh at the Binyanei Hauma International Convention Center in Yerushalayim. The energy in the room pulsated, the spirit in the air was palpable. A sense of connection and purpose bonded the 1700 talmidim, their parents and the Mifal staff who came together to be inspired to greater heights.

Harav Hagoan Av Beis Din Keter Torah, Rabbi Shlomo Zafrani shlita delivered a powerful message to parents and talmidim. Rabbi Zafrani expounded on the significance of Torah learning in childhood. He spoke of  the ripple effect of Mifal’s positive influence on troubled youth.

Talmidim enjoyed the singing by Eliran Elbaz who entertained the boys with his bouzouki while chanting ‘Mifal’ ‘Mifal’ and dancing with the talmidim.

One could actually feel the awe in the ballroom when Hagoan Rav Binyomin Finkel shlita Rosh Yeshivas Mir entered. The crowd burst into song escorting the esteemed Rosh Yeshiva all while singing yomim al yemie melech tosif.

Mifal continues to connect children to their creator, to Torah and mitzvos, to eternal life. Educating youngsters about the greatness of G-d, and their obligations as true Torah yidden,  is enduring. Be a part of the Mifal movement, an organization who infuses and inspires the most troubled Sefardi youth in Eretz Yisroel.
