US Democratic Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib removed a retweet from her Twitter feed which read, “From river to sea, Palestine will be free,” the Jewish Telegraphic Agency (JTA) reported on Wednesday.

The retweeted phrase has long been associated with calls for the elimination of the Jewish state.

On November 29, a date in which some quarters commemorate the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian people, Tlaib retweeted an account that mentioned the aphorism along with a poster by an artist to celebrate the day, according to JTA.

  1. They say, “From river to sea, Palestine will be free.”

I say, “It wasn’t free, we paid good money between you and me.”

    Dear Rep. Tlaib,
We could not buy (back) our land, if your relatives wouldn’t be willing to sell it to us. Why was it necessary for the PA to establish the death penalty for any Arab selling land to a Jew?”

  2. It could be simple. We should care her willing milk of worry. She worries about Palestine. If it is free, jews will live there well.

    Hashem will honor Israel.
