The so called Midgal Dovid is a Muslim minaret, built over the foundations of a Herodean palace tower, which was named after Hurdus’ younger brother, who as as great of a tzadik as Hurdus himself.
Not much Jewishness in that structure, but it looks nice in photos.
The Pnei Moshe was the Rebbi of the Vilna Gaon
