Rav Shmuel Yaakov Kohn, the Toldos Avrohom Yitzchok Rebbe, who is currently in the United States on a visit to raise funds for Mosdos Toldos Avrohom Yitzchok, will spend this Shabbos, Parshas Vayeirah, in Lawrence, NY.
The Rebbe has so far visited Monsey, Lakewood, and Boro Park, where he spent last Shabbos.
This Shabbos, the Rebbe’s tishen and tefillos will take place in and around Congregation Shaaray Tefila in Lawrence, which is being rented by the chassidus for Shabbos.
The Rebbe’s visit is taking place so soon after Yom Tov to enable the Rebbe to be back in Eretz Yisroel in time for the first yahrtzeit of his son-in-law, hakadosh Rav Leibish Teitelbaum Hy”d, who was murdered last November in the terror attack in Mumbai. Last year’s rescue mission on behalf of the desperate Mosdos Toldos Avrohom Yitzchok was tragically cut short, as the Rebbe rushed home to be with his family.
The Toldos Avrohom Yitzchok Mosdos has experienced a very difficult year, barely managing to remain afloat.
Rabbi Menachem Schwartz, long-time administrator of the Mosdos, has accompanied the Rebbe to America.
