  1. Thank you to Rabbi Lipschutz for all you have done for Reb Sholom Mordechai and for keeping his plight in the Teffilos of Yidden.

  2. Tonight is the yertzit of RABBI MIER BAL HANESS Z’TL.B’H in his merit we should only see good things.PLEASE DAVEN. thank you.

  3. One question on all of this that I still don’t fully understand. If we remember back to right after SMR was found guilty at his trial, the government dropped all the charges against him for the immigrant issues. Why did they do that? Because the government felt that since he was found guilty of these fraud crimes he would be in jail for the rest of his life so therefore it was not necessary to spend the money on a whole trial for the immigrant issue.

If that is the case then why are we now so surprised that he faces a life sentence. The government told us back then they were planning to give a life sentence?

Something just doesn’t make sense here. Can anyone explain?

  4. Rabbi Lipshutz – I have not agreed with you on many editorials over the years in the Yated, however I have no doubt that you have fulfilled the Mitzvah of trying to be Podeh Asurim with all that you have done and contininue to do for Rabbi Rubashkin. You’re an inspiration to all of us as an Emor Me’at Ve’aseh HARBEH with Matir Aurim. Yasheer Ko’ach.
