Tonight, Motzoei Shabbos, Reb Sholom Mordechai Rubashkin is once again inviting the public to a night of chizuk and celebration – l’hodos ul halel – as he marks the sixth anniversary of Hashem’s miraculous salvation, his release from “a place called prison.”
His Emunah and Bitachon in Hashem have inspired many – an effect which was intensified a thousand-fold by his release and which has only grown over the years. All year round, the focus is on learning what the Torah says about Bitachon and striving to internalize it. The annual celebration is an opportunity to stop and recognize Hashem’s yeshuos in real life – in our lives – and to take energy and enthusiasm from that in strengthening our connection to Hashem and our trust in Him.
Attendees will once again have the zechus to hear Divrei Bracha, and Rabbi Rubashkin will be giving practical chizuk in Emunah and Bitachon, joined by R’ Pinchas Lipschutz. R Yitzchak Hisiger will chair the event and zemiros will be led by R. Shloime Taussig.
This year’s celebration will be a Seudas Melava Malka, Motzoi Shabbos Mikeitz. It will take place at Bnos Melech, 550 James St, Lakewood, NJ (men’s entrance from the side). The doors will open at 8pm, and the program will begin at 8:30.
