A women and girls rally in support of Sholom Mordechai Rubaskin will take place tonight in Boro Park, Brooklyn. The event will be held at the Beth El shul, located at 15th Avenue and 48th Street in Boro Park, at 8:15 p.m. The event promises to be a soul-stirring and inspirational evening, including a musical presentation.
“Funds must be raised immediately to reverse this travesty of justice for the costs of appealing his case and procuring his release,” a sign for the event says.
R’ Sholom Mordechai, a former vice president at Agriprocessors, is being denied bail as he awaits the judge’s sentencing.
Speakers at the event will include Rabbi Moshe Snow, Rabbi Fischel Schachter and Mrs. Miriam Swerdlov of Crown Heights. Rabbi Pinchos Lipschutz, Publisher of Yated Ne’eman, may address the event as well.
Please continue to daven for Reb Shalom Mordechai ben Rivkah.

Why are all these rallies and fundraisers almost exclusively non-Chabad?
It seems like Chabad has thrown them under the bus.
Has Chabad forgotten all that The Rubashkins have done for them because they’ve lost their money?
What are you saying???????? Go to the Chabad website and see for yourself.

#2,
All the organizers and all the rabbis speaking are not from Chabad.
Where is the outrage? How about an epic telethon that Chabad knows how to make so well?
The silence is deafening.
I’m just curious why???
