On Wednesday’s episode of The View, Whoopi Goldberg reiterated her stance on not mentioning Donald Trump’s name, even in light of his recent election win. She first praised Kamala Harris for her relentless campaign efforts, stating, “People didn‘t come out, I don‘t know why, and it doesn‘t even matter. He’s now the president.” She then confirmed, “I’m still not going to say his name. That’s not going to change.”
Goldberg’s refusal to speak Trump’s name on The View began when he initially took office in 2016, with Goldberg stating she simply “can’t” say the words “President Trump.” In 2018, she addressed criticism of her decision, saying, “I know people don’t like that I don’t do it. I’m fine with that. There is lots of stuff I do people don’t like, you know. I can live with it.”
Though usually strict about her policy, Goldberg has only strayed from it a few times: once on purpose when Trump was found guilty of 34 felony charges, and once unintentionally during a discussion after his debate with Joe Biden in June.

Why is this newsworthy?
Out of respect for her mature, rational, principled stance, I too will refrain from speaking Ms. Taken’s name and urge others to do the same. In fact, her idea is brilliant, but she doesn’t take it far enough. She should refrain from speaking entirely! And her colleagues should support her by also taking a vow of silence!
As this might be difficult for them, at least at first, the American public should band together to assist them in this worthy effort by demanding that the View be canceled immediately, so that these moral warriors not be tempted to weaken and abandon, even momentarily, their self-appointed sacred task.
…In addition, we, their prospective audience, respectfully request that henceforth no pictures of Ms. Taken, Ms. Guided, Ms. Begotten, or any other member of this program’s panel be posted on this (or any other) site, so as to make it easier on everyone to keep their word to keep their words unspoken.
Just curious what some of these people posting are thinking with their nasty comments. Check out the left wing liberal comments sections and you’ll find similar comments about Jews and Israel, and you same people will scream about the anti Semites and lowlifes who speak that way (and you’ll be correct). So how are you any better? Yes, her comments are silly and infantile. Does that mean yours should be, as well?
