Toyota, Nissan Recall 3M More Cars

takataJapanese automakers Toyota and Nissan on Thursday announced a recall for an additional 3 million cars, over worries that they may also have the faulty airbags implicated in at least eight deaths.

Toyotas make up 2.86 million of the cars recalled, while Nissan is only pulling back 198,000.

The CEO of Takata, the company responsible for the airbags, also spoke Thursday for the first time since this crisis began. “We are very sorry. We are doing our best to learn the cause of the problem,” Shigehisa Takada said. Read more at Yahoo News.
