White House trade adviser Peter Navarro tore into Dr. Anthony Fauci in a stunning op-ed on Wednesday, saying the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases director, who has been a leading voice on the Coronavirus Task Force, has been “wrong about everything.”

“Dr. Anthony Fauci has a good bedside manner with the public, but he has been wrong about everything I have interacted with him on,” Navarro wrote in a blistering op-ed for USA Today.

Navarro began by saying that Fauci “fought against” Trump’s “courageous decision” in late January to suspend flights from China as the novel coronavirus began to spread, arguing that that decision “might well have saved hundreds of thousands of American lives.”

He continued: “When I warned in late January in a memo of a possibly deadly pandemic, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases was telling our news media not to worry.”

Further, he wrote that in February, “Fauci was telling the public the China virus was low risk.” Navarro went on to complain Fauci was “flip-flopping on the use of masks.”

He dinged Fauci for downplaying falling mortality rates, amid the debate over whether businesses should be allowed to reopen or stay shuttered. Navarro added: “So when you ask me whether I listen to Dr. Fauci’s advice my answer is: only with skepticism and caution.”

Navarro’s comments come as tensions have been bubbling between the White House and Fauci. Officials have reportedly been concerned about the number of times Fauci has “been wrong on things,” according to a report last week. Read more at Fox News.

    • I am not sure what your point is. The alleged people “who knew him best” did not know him at all. They only met because of official positions when Trump became President – and they couldn’t stand Trump making his own decisions instead of genuflecting to them. Is that your point?

      • My point is the truth. There are many Americans that believe in service and take jobs in the government. They are telling the truth. The only people who praise Trump are the grifters that make money and sell their influence. So kany ignore the truth and it is important to accept the truth if someone wants to support Trump, that is their choice but do not gloss over what he is as a person and as a leader.

  1. Mortality due to coronavirus is a fake number. Most people are not dying from coronavirus. Those recording deaths simply change the label. If patients died from leukaemia, from metastatic cancer, from cardiovascular disease or from dementia, they put coronavirus. Also, the number of infected people is fake, because it depends on the number of tests. The more tests you do the more infected people you get.
The only real number is the total number of deaths – all causes of death, not just coronavirus. If you look at those numbers, you will see that every winter we get what is called an excess death rate. That is, during the winter more people die compared to the average, due to regular, seasonal flu epidemics, which nobody cares about. If you look at the coronavirus wave on a graph, you will see that it looks like a spike. Coronavirus comes very fast, but it also goes away very fast. The influenza wave is shallow as it takes three months to pass, but coronavirus takes one month. If you count the number of people who die in terms of excess mortality – which is the area under the curve – you will see that during the coronavirus season, we have had an excess mortality which is about 15 per cent larger than the epidemic of regular flu in 2017.
Compared to that rise, the draconian measures are of biblical proportions. Hundreds of millions of people are suffering. In developing countries many will die from starvation. In developed countries many will die from unemployment. Unemployment is mortality. More people will die from the measures than from the virus. And the people who die from the measures are the breadwinners. They are younger. Among the people who die from coronavirus, the median age is often higher than the life expectancy of the population. What has been done is not proportionate. But people are afraid. People are brainwashed. They do not listen to the data. And that includes governments.

  2. Poster #1 , if you sincerely believe what you posted why would you hide? Not only you hide your name but so too your message is shrouded in a secret cloak! You are totally anti Trump and that’s an okay position. But why hide?

Remember, as not-a-nice guy he may be, he was great for American morale and the economy and he was great for Israel and Americans in general and for American Jews in particular.

    • he was great for 32% non educated white males. Hashem counts all jews including vindman, including non religous jews, not just rubashkin, i would disagree with you he was good for jews, why hasn’t israel annex west bank yet? he was not good to the jews that died because he ignored the warnings. He still is ignoring the science. He juiced up the stockmarket, the economy imploded right before obama came into office he cleaned up the mess. the deregulation that is going on now, will only implode again. companies are increasing their debt now, people are in the market because interest rates are so low they can’t make money any where else. i am sure the big real estate people will get bail outs, and nursing homes got money, but they are not all the jews… I am not hiding mr Nantucket, I live in Brooklyn, NY I am a child of a holocaust survivor who would never vote for a man like trump who slept with mein kampf by his bedside whose father was arrested at a kkk rally at madison square garden. You might not like george soros, i don’t agree with his politics, but he is jewish and the anti semitism that is directed at him by trump and fox and qanon is not right.
America is a joke now, we are putin’s puppet. Call me names, say fake news, it won’t matter to me, it is a reflection of Trump and what he has done.

    • George will column from Washington Post. He certainly is not a progressive. He is not fake news. He loves our country. He Should be happy he is getting conservative justices, low taxes…. George Will has principles a true conservative.

Because of his incontinent use of it, the rhetorical mustard that the president slathers on every subject has lost its tang. The entertainer has become a bore, and foretelling his defeat no longer involves peering into a distant future: Early voting begins in two states (South Dakota and Minnesota) 61 days from Sunday, which is 107 days before Election Day.
Never has a U.S. election come at such a moment of national mortification. In April 1970, President Richard M. Nixon told a national television audience that futility in Vietnam would make the United States appear to the world as “a pitiful, helpless giant.” Half a century later, America, for the first time in its history, is pitied.
Not even during the Civil War, when the country was blood-soaked by a conflict involving enormous issues, was it viewed with disdainful condescension as it now is, and not without reason: Last Sunday, Germany (population 80.2 million) had 159 new cases of covid-19; Florida (population 21.5 million) had 15,300.
Under the most frivolous person ever to hold any great nation’s highest office, this nation is in a downward spiral. This spiral has not reached its nadir, but at least it has reached a point where worse is helpful, and worse can be confidently expected.
The nation’s floundering government is now administered by a gangster regime. It is helpful to have this made obvious as voters contemplate renewing the regime’s lease on the executive branch. Roger Stone adopted the argot of B-grade mobster movies when he said he would not “roll on” Donald Trump. By commuting Stone’s sentence, Stone’s beneficiary played his part in this down-market drama, showing gratitude for Stone’s version of omertà (the Mafia code of silence), which involved lots of speaking but much lying. Because the pandemic prevents both presidential candidates from bouncing around the continent like popcorn in a skillet, the electorate can concentrate on other things, including Trump’s selection of friends such as Stone and Paul Manafort, dregs from the bottom of the Republican barrel.
“Longing on a large scale is what makes history,” Don DeLillo wrote in his sprawling 1997 novel “Underworld” about the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Today, there is a vast longing for respite from the 21st century, which — before the pandemic, two inconclusive wars and the Great Recession — began with a presidential election that turned on 537 Florida votes and was not decided until a Dec. 12, 2000, Supreme Court decision. Given Trump’s reckless lying and the supine nature of most Republican officeholders, it is imperative that the Nov. 3 result be obvious that evening.

This year, the pandemic will be an accelerant of preexisting trends: There will be a surge of early and mail voting. So, an unambiguous decision by midnight Eastern time Nov. 3 will require (in addition to state requirements that mailed ballots be postmarked, say, no later than Oct. 31) a popular-vote tsunami so large against the president that there will be a continentwide guffaw when he makes charges, as surely he will, akin to those he made in 2016. Then, he said he lost the popular vote by 2.9 million because “millions” of undocumented immigrants voted against him. Making a preemptive strike against civic confidence, Trump has announced that the 2020 election will be the “most corrupt” in U.S. history.
Opinion | Trump vs. the coronavirus

Even as the number of U.S. coronavirus cases passes 3 million, President Trump has repeatedly played down covid-19’s toll on the country.
The 2020 presidential selection process began with Iowa’s shambolic Democratic caucuses, a result not of corruption but incompetence, an abundant commodity nowadays. It is scandalous that in many places casting a ballot requires hours of standing in line. Larry Diamond of the conservative-leaning Hoover Institution at Stanford discerns another scandal:
“The hard truth is that there has been a rising tide of voter suppression in recent U.S. elections. These actions — such as overeager purging of electoral registers and reducing early voting — have the appearance of enforcing abstract principles of electoral integrity but the clear effect (and apparent intent) of disproportionately disenfranchising racial minorities. One example was the decision of Georgia’s Republican Secretary of State (now Governor) Brian Kemp to suspend 53,000 predominantly African-American voter registration applications in 2018 because the names did not produce an ‘exact match’ with other records.”
This nation built the Empire State Building, groundbreaking to official opening, in 410 days during the Depression, and the Pentagon in 16 months during wartime. Today’s less serious nation is unable to competently combat a pandemic, or even reliably conduct elections. This is what national decline looks like.

  3. I have a hard time believing Fauci, an infectious diseases doctor, would wear such a mask. Photoshopped! If so, he mostly likely wears no mask because he claims that masks do not protect against the virus.

    • The White House is trying to undermine public confidence in Fauci not out of any genuine disagreement with his assessments, but because he’s undercutting Trump’s reelection message by telling the truth about how terrible things are.

  4. yup israel killed its economy, france, italy, because fauci told them what to do?
excuse me its a worldwide pandemic – not just here
and america is handling it like one of the worst countries in the world because of covidiots
wake up and look at reality

  5. Is that what a leader of the superpower does? Blame his collaborators for his decisions? Whiny baby and it’s getting clear his niece is 100% right, a terrible upbringing.

  6. The TRUTH hurts. We are living in a time where you cant believe anything.
The medical community, the ones who are supposed to SAVE lives, have become political and are killing patients

Scientist are all political. Its a scary world

  7. Fauci is trying to save our lives, peter navarro is disgusting along with all the white house employees who are opportunist. Trump is jealous of Fauci’s approval rating. Americans are home now, watching All news channels, not just Fox and recognize and see what is coming out of The white house. When Trump leaves the white house he is going to join up up with oann channel and compete with Fox. No one deserves it more than Fox.
Hashem should watch over us and forgive us, but we must do our hishtadlus.

      • During the presidential campaign, both Beto O’Rourke and Kirsten Gillibrand went on this nauseating priviliged WHITE public apology tour, at the debates. They brought it up at every opportunity, how inherently bad and evil they (and all WHITES) are. They were feeling guilty because Kamala Harris was droning on about racism on school busses. Beto & Kirsten (2 awful losers) were the forerunner to all the recent upheaval with Antifa wreaking havoc on American cities. Yes, words matter. The democrat presidential debates were purposely fanning the flames of division and hatred.

  8. Mr. Yoram Lass (Israel July 16, 2020 at 3:20 am), I still didn’t read something so truthful about this corona situation. They should publish this in all languages, in all media…

If you only look at this statistic below, you can clearly see how much are things now blown out of proportion. Considering the numbers of Americans dying every year from diseases directly affected by junk food they eat, why they don’t close all the factories that produce these poisons?

About 647,000 Americans die from heart disease each year—that’s 1 in every 4 deaths. Heart disease costs the United States about $219 billion each year from 2014 to 2015. This includes the cost of health care services, medicines, and lost productivity due to death
…Heart and circulatory diseases cause more than a quarter (27 per cent) of all deaths in the UK; that’s nearly 170,000 deaths each year – an average of 460 people each day or one death every three minutes. Around 44,000 people under the age of 75 in the UK die from heart and circulatory diseases each year

    • Michelle Obama made a point to grow vegetables in the White House garden, and Dem reps passed laws regulating snack vending machines in schools and school lunches. We may agree or disagree about serving fries to students, but either junk food is an emergency or it isn’t. If you sneered at the “obsession for health food” of the Obamas you should stay silent now. If you think eating healthy is important you should tell President Trump to make it a national priority right now, rather than have Ivanka photographed with a can of beans because of its logo. Make up your mind, you can’t have it both ways.

    • your comparing something that is caused by a contagious disease and something that is caused by genetics and diet etc? and let’s say immunity doesnt last how many people have to die before you think the economy should be reclosed?

  9. Boruch Hashem that more and more professional people are stepping forward and beginning to expose some of the virtually countless items in this Coronavirus episode that Fauci has been absolutely wrong on. One of these items (that is not mentioned right here) has been his (and his “establishment” associates’) vendetta against Hydroxychloroquine. When reports about the, Boruch Hashem, brilliant success of Hydroxychloroquine against Covid-19 started coming out, Fauci sharply dismissed it. He explained that it had been researched and developed and tested and approved only for the disease of MALARIA. As this process has obviously not been done on it with this “new” Coronavirus-Covid-19 disease — i.e., it has not been legally approved for Covid-19 — to treat Covid-19 with it is an outright forbidden criminal act.

THIS LITTLE “LEGAL AXIOM” OF HIS IS A COMPLETE LIE!!!!!!!!!

Development of a new pharmaceutical medication will be done with the intention in mind of using it to treat a certain illness condition. It will be tested and approved by the FDA and then put on the market for use with the publication of its extensive detailed information. When physicians begin using it to treat the intended condition, many of them will realize — both from what the information about the drug says that it does and from what they see how their patients react upon taking it — that it could also help certain other different conditions. So, they will try using it with those other conditions to see if it actually does help them too.

When they see that it actually DOES help the other conditions — WITHOUT having to ask for any “permission” or “approval” from the FDA — they most certainly will continue using it to treat the other conditions! They will further inform their professional realms of their clinical experiences with the drug, and soon, countless other physicians too will be using it to also treat the other conditions.

So, it is common practice throughout the Modern Medical establishment, that a certain medication that was created for illness condition “A” — WITH NO NEED WHATSOEVER FOR A NEW SEPARATE FDA PERMIT — it will often end up being used ALSO for illness condition “B”!

That HERE, with Hydroxychloroquine, Saint Anthony & Co. suddenly springs on it this (supposed) “law” that, for the Covid thingy, it has to go through all over again the extremely long complex tedious testing & approval procedures to receive (for Covid) a new separate “Hechser,” is obviously a COMPLETE FABRICATION and an OUTRIGHT SINISTER DOUBLE STANDARD!!
