It is with great sadness that Matzav.com reports the passing of R’ Moshe Yehuda Wiener z”l, who was killed after being struck by a tractor trailer in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, at about 11 a.m. today. A talmid of the Satmar mosdos in Boro Park and Kiryas Yoel, he was just 21 years old.
R’ Moshe Yehudah was making a delivery of plumbing supplies to a construction site at the time of the accident. He was entering his vehicle when a passing tractor trailer stuck him.
He suffered severe injuries and passed away at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City at about 1:30 p.m.
As reported previously on Matzav, the incident took place near the intersection of South 10th and Kent.
R’ Moshe Yehudah got married about a year ago to a daughter of Rabbi and Mrs. Avrohom Lebovitz of Williamsburg.
Moshe Yehuda is survived by his wife; his parents, Rabbi and Mrs. Heshy Wiener of Boro Park; his siblings and extended family and friends mourning this terrible tragedy.

The levayah will be held this evening, at 8 p.m., at the Satmar bais medrash at the corner of Hooper and Kent, followed by kevurah in Kiryas Yoel.
