Two stillborn babies in Israel from mothers infected with COVID-19 have also tested positive for the coronavirus — with at least one of the deaths blamed on the contagion, according to a report.
A woman in her 36th week of pregnancy lost her unborn child at the Meir Medical Center in Kfar Saba Saturday after falling sick with COVID-19, the Times of Israel said.
Tests showed that the fetus was also infected, but the hospital did not immediately blame the pandemic for the death.
However, it was declared the likely cause of death in an almost identical case last week when a 29-year-old woman lost her child in the 25th week of pregnancy in Ashdod, the outlet said.
“The fetus was infected through the placenta and with a very high degree of certainty, [we can say] died due to coronavirus,” Dr. Tal Brosh, head of the Infectious Disease Department at the Assuta Hospital, told Ynet news.

That may not be true. A recent well designed observational study in a Medicaid database found a 51% increase in congenital malformations in the babies whose mothers took HCQ. Greatest increased risks were for oral clefts, respiratory anomalies, and urinary defects. This is a big deal because women with autoimmune conditions who take HCQ for its indication may want to get pregnant. However, it isn’t a risk connected to COVID since the clinical trials have proven HCQ to be useless against COVID and therefore there is no reason for anyone to take it for COVID. Just because someone dies with covid, it doesn’t mean they died FROM Covid.

There are R”L many still-borns all the time. Just because there have been 2 that had Covid, doesn’t necessarily mean there’s a correlation. Doctors should be able to determine the cause of death. Don’t just rack it up to Corona for the sake of more fear-mongering.
Every death since 2021 is linked with the vaccine just like every death in 2020 was linked with coronavirus.
