Tragic: Three More Soldiers Killed In Gaza, Eight Soldiers Seriously Injured

The IDF Spokesperson’s Unit has released the identities of three more IDF soldiers who have been killed:

Sergeant Lavi Ghasi, 19, hailing from Chashmonaim, was killed in a battle in the northern Gaza Strip. The Binyamin Regional Council expressed condolences to Ghasi’s parents, Orit and Yaakov, as well as siblings Noam, Yagel, Yedidya, and the entire Ghasi family.

Lieutenant Yaacov Elian, 20, a resident of Ramat Gan, lost his life in a battle in the northern Gaza Strip.

Lieutenant Omri Schwartz, 21, from Moshav Shadmot Dvora, also fell in battle in the northern Gaza Strip. The levayah is scheduled for Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at the local bais hachaim.

Two soldiers sustained serious injuries during the same confrontation in which Schwartz and Elian were killed.

Additionally, two soldiers from the 50th Battalion of the Nachal Brigade sustained serious injuries in a Gaza Strip battle. A reservist from the Oketz unit sustained severe injuries in a Gaza Strip conflict, while an officer in the 532nd Battalion of the 460th Brigade sustained serious injuries in a battle in the northern Gaza Strip.

Furthermore, a reservist soldier in the 9218th Battalion suffered serious injuries in a battle in the southern Gaza Strip.
