New York City is bracing for a series of three winter storms this week, including one expected Tuesday night that could bring up to 4 inches of snow across the five boroughs.
This upcoming trio follows Shabbos’s storm, which left 3.1 inches of snow in Central Park and more than 4 inches in parts of Queens.
According to AccuWeather, Monday and Tuesday will be cold and brisk, with temperatures staying in the mid-30s before the snow arrives late Tuesday.
Snow will begin falling Tuesday evening and continue overnight. A total of 2-4 inches is expected for most areas, while the northern suburbs may only see a light dusting to 1-2 inches.
Light snow showers could persist into Wednesday morning before clearing up for a mostly cloudy day. The high temperature will reach around 35.
The second storm will bring snow, sleet, and freezing rain starting Wednesday night. The transition from snow to rain will occur throughout the overnight hours.
Wednesday night’s storm is expected to bring heavier precipitation to northern regions, according to AccuWeather.
Rain will persist into Thursday morning, with some breaks in the clouds allowing for sunshine by Thursday afternoon. The high will rise to 42.
Friday will be dry and sunny, but colder, with highs dipping back into the mid-30s.
The third storm will strike this weekend, bringing a wintry mix on Shabbos. The exact path of this storm will become more apparent as the days progress.

Quit getting everyone crazy over what might end up being a a few inches of snow. Maybe maybe maybe 2 in or three near the coast for Tuesday into Wednesday, Wednesday afternoon nothing with nothing, and Shabbos is expected to be rain with temps in the mid to upper 30s.
