President Trump argued Saturday that Democrats in Congress have launched another “Witch Hunt” against him amid backlash over reports that he urged Ukraine’s president to launch an investigation into former Vice President Joe Biden.
In a tweet Saturday afternoon, the president asserted that Democrats were attempting to shield Biden from an investigation by going after Trump on the topic of Ukraine. Biden is currently leading polls for the Democratic presidential nomination.
“Now that the Democrats and the Fake News Media have gone ‘bust’ on every other of their Witch Hunt schemes, they are trying to start one just as ridiculous as the others, call it the Ukraine Witch Hunt, while at the same time trying to protect Sleepy Joe Biden,” he tweeted, adding, “Will fail again!”

(Tea Party PAC) – The Democrats think they’ve managed to put together a brand new Trump scandal, but it’s already blowing up in their faces.
The new narrative began last week when House Intelligence Chairman Adam Schiff (D-CA) subpoenaed Acting DNI Joseph Maguire, accusing him of illegally withholding a whistleblower complaint from Congress that could have potentially been “covering up the president’s misconduct” over a phone call POTUS had with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
The left is now claiming that Trump, along with his personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani, was seeking to manipulate the Ukranian government into helping Trump to secure the 2020 presidential election. This is pretty ironic when you consider what members of the Obama administration were up to in the Ukraine themselves.
Trump’s potential opponent in the 2020 general, by the way, is Joe Biden, Obama’s VP who had Ukranina prosecutor Viktor Shokin fired because he was investigating Biden’s son Hunter. Giuliani asked the Ukraine government to investigate this, so the left is trying to twist it into a Trump scandal.
They’re now demanding a transcript of Trump’s phone call with Zelensky.
Intelligence Community Inspector General Michael Atkinson appeared before the House Panel on Thursday in a closed-door, classified testimony about the whistleblower complaint.
According to a leak to CNN, Atkinson told the panel that he could not disclose details in the whistleblower complaint because the Justice Department said it was outside his jurisdiction because he is in ODNI [Office of Director of National Intelligence].
The media is telling us now that Trump is seeking the help of a foreign power to win 2020 because the Trump Administration asserted executive privilege over the whistleblower complaint.
And Hillary Clinton is joining in the narrative.
Ironically. This is a woman who employed the help of several foreign countries to help her with the presidential election, with the help of the administration in which she had once served, too.
The Trump-Russia narrative began in Ukraine, after all, remember?
Hillary’s aides went to the Ukrainian embassy to try to get “dirt” on Trump’s former campaign manager Paul Manafort, which would eventually be used to but Manafort in prison.
Meanwhile, Hillary Clinton’s own campaign manager, John Podesta, and his brother Tony had been doing the same thing in Ukraine…with Manafort!
Hillary also paid millions to a former British spy, Christopher Steele, to a fake Russia dossier, which she used to spy on her political opponent, Donald Trump.If she was smart, she’d stay a mile away from talking about colluding with a foreign power!
On Friday, Trump defended himself again, slamming “Little Adam Schiff” and “highly partisan” whistleblowers trying to undermine his presidency.
