Trump Administration Considers New Sanctions On Iran’s Financial Sector

The Trump administration is considering imposing new financial sanctions on Iran’s economy in an attempt to sever it from the outside world except in limited circumstances.

Three people familiar with the proposal said that the sanctions would target at least a dozen banks and label the entire financial sector off-limits, according to a report on Bloomberg.
