President Trump expressed his support and congratulations after Hamas released three additional hostages from Gaza today. However, he emphasized that the release fell short of his demand for the full release of all hostages and reiterated that he would stand by Israel in whatever steps they decide to take in dealing with the fragile cease-fire with the terrorist group.
“Hamas has just released three Hostages from GAZA, including an American Citizen. They seem to be in good shape! This differs from their statement last week that they would not release any Hostages,” Trump said in a post on Truth Social this morning.
Today, Hamas freed Sagui Dekel-Chen, a 36-year-old dual U.S.-Israeli citizen, Alexander Trupanov, a 29-year-old dual Russian-Israeli citizen, and Yair Horn, a 46-year-old dual Argentinian-Israeli citizen. In return, Israel released hundreds of violent terrorists.
The possibility of a return to open warfare seemed imminent just days ago after Hamas declared they would not release any hostages on Shabbos, breaking the fragile cease-fire agreement between Israel and the terrorist group, which was signed shortly before Trump took office.
In his remarks, Trump subtly urged Israel to continue pressuring Hamas for the release of all hostages and assured that the United States would provide unwavering support for whatever actions Israel deemed necessary.
“Israel will now have to decide what they will do about the 12:00 O’CLOCK, TODAY, DEADLINE imposed on the release of ALL HOSTAGES. The United States will back the decision they make!” Trump stated.
Trump has previously proposed that the United States take control of Gaza and suggested resettling the Palestinian population to neighboring countries—an idea that has been strongly rejected by Arab leaders.

But to protect their own soldiers lives they don’t care. They are more concerned with Gaza civilians. Facts are facts. Had they stopped all food and fuel shipments the hostages would be free. Now I understand why Chareidim will never join an army run by mechallel shabbos and pork eaters.
