On Tuesday, President Donald Trump voiced his gratitude for the note that former President Joe Biden had left behind in the Resolute Desk.
“It was a very nice letter. I could show it because I think it was a nice letter,” Trump said, according to The Hill. “It was a little bit of an inspirational type of letter. Enjoy it, do a good job. Important, very important. How important the job is.”
“It was a positive, for him, in writing it. I appreciated the letter.”
Trump told reporters that he opened the letter on Tuesday while he was responding to their questions.
