President Trump on Saturday said he disagreed with an assessment from the head of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) that the United States could face the “worst fall” from a public health perspective if Americans do not follow guidelines to ease the spread of the novel coronavirus.

“No,” Trump told reporters at a news conference at his Bedminster, N.J., golf club when asked whether he agreed with CDC Director Robert Redfield’s recent remarks.

“You can’t compare it to 1917. That was incredible,” Trump continued, referring to the Spanish flu, which infected an estimated 500 million people worldwide and is believed to have killed at least 50 million.

  1. Since coronavirus is not a medical issue is he talking about the spread of the Deep State criminals not yet apprehended and might attack children going to school or people going to vote?

  2. First of all, what does he know? Only that he needs to get reelected. Second, that is not a picture of Redfield, it’s Fauci.

  3. Again he gets the year wrong. Like he has gotten everything else wrong on this pandemic.

Why is he suggesting to Americans that they don’t need to follow the advice of the experts? It is like he WANTS Americans to die.

    • No, he wants guys like you to wake up and see the bluff. President Trump surely knows about that meeting (if he wasn’t there himself) on Jan. 17, 2019 where they voted on the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act.
