Trump Concedes To Being ‘Former President’ In Capitol Riot Lawsuit

Donald Trump, who claims he never conceded the 2020 election, establishes himself as a former president in his lawsuit against the Capitol riot committee and National Archives.

The passage appears on page 11 of the complaint filed in federal court on Monday.

“Plaintiff Donald J. Trump is the 45th President of the United States. President Trump brings this suit solely in his official capacity as a former President under the PRA, associated regulations, the Executive Order, the Declaratory Judgment Act, and the Constitution of the United States,” the lawsuit states.

    Any President during their second term is also a former President regarding their prior term.

    That’s all he wrote there.

  2. The gun fog minds are calling it an insurrection.

    But in a universe of ancient family, the riot was a resurrection of a hope for capital. The jails swell due to crimes, not hard crunch of comment.

    Sad day but very grievous how the government faces us.

  3. The headline tries to make it sound like Trump conceded the election. The fact is that Hillary Clinton (along with a majority of self-declared Democrats who were polled) never conceded the 2016 election – they still claim it was stolen”. But all that is about the populace vote. The legal Constitutional determination of a president is by Electoral College vote, which is completely separate and different, and only the latter determines the legal President, even if the populace election was rigged. In fact, it would be the same rule if 100% of the population voted for a candidate, but the Electoral College voted for a different person – the Electoral College wins.
