President Trump chose not to place his hand on a pair of Bibles held by his wife, First Lady Melania Trump, when taking the oath of office on Monday.
Rather than following the traditional gesture, Trump stood with his left arm resting at his side and raised his right hand to swear in.
For the occasion, Trump used two Bibles: one belonging to his family, and the other, the Lincoln Bible, which had previously been used by Abraham Lincoln during his inauguration in 1861, and by President Barack Obama during his swearing-in ceremonies in 2009 and 2013.

Trump did not place his hand on the Bible because he was already sworn in for the Republic of America; he never left. The Inauguration today is of the privately owned US Corporation we’ve lived under which has been dissolved, it’s gone, and he’s not the President of the US Corporation. He won’t take an oath for a ceased corporation. Trump is continuing his Presidency of the Restored American Republic, the 19th president to the Constitution prior to 1871.

Because he didn’t have to be sworn in if he never left, as Dave mentioned, confirming that Biden was never President. Conspiracy Theorists proven right again.
He snubs the Holy Bible by his words and actions, by promoting toeivah and toeivah practitioners (e.g. his Treasury secretary nominee and others). To the toeivah crowd he told them he is their best friend in the White House ever, so it is absolutely fitting that he didn’t place his hand on a Bible, whether it was deliberate or just a slip.

All those negative comments, about Trump not placing his hand on the Bibles,
are meaningless. The Bibles were there, as he was sworn in, held by Melania.
Just like a new tradition established by JFK, for example, not wearing a top hat.
It’s not as if the Bibles weren’t there. They were very prominently held by his
wife. “Much ado about nothing” what he did, intentional or not?
If you carefully watch the video of his swearing in, you’ll see that Justice Robert’s started the process before Melania stepped into position, at which moment there was no Bible to place his hand on. It’s quite possible, then, that once he was concentrating on the swearing in procedure, Tump didn’t realize anything about the Bible. In any event, the comments I am reading here are a little mentally retarded, so I tried to introduce some sanity…
