President Trump applauded new sanctions on North Korea that were unanimously approved Saturday by the United Nations Security Council. The sanctions include the banning of coal and other exports, worth around $1 billion, into the rogue nation.
Trump said the sanctions will have “a very big financial impact,” and he commended China for working with the U.S. on the deal. The U.N. vote comes as North Korea continues to defy international calls to end its missile program. Read more.
