On Thursday, CBS News reported that two ambulances and multiple vans apparently full of Secret Service officers had been spotted leaving Mar-a-Lago. Additional reports came in of helicopters hovering above the resort before the ambulances were spotted leaving the site.
The reports promoted concern for Trump’s health and safety, however the Secret Service and Trump’s transition team quickly confirmed that there was no health emergency, and the ambulances spotted were a routine part of Vice President-elect JD Vance’s motorcade.
With President-Elect Trump twice being a target of assassination attempts this year, many are on edge and alert for any sign of trouble with the next President.
