President-elect Donald Trump has expressed that the ceasefire and hostage release agreement “better hold” when asked by NBC News’ “Meet the Press” about his confidence in the imminent release of Israeli hostages held by Hamas.
“Well, we’re going to see very soon, and it better hold,” Trump stated during the telephone interview.
Trump mentioned that he had advised Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu, saying, “Just keep doing what you have to do. You have to have — this has to end. We want it to end, but to keep doing what has to be done.”
He also noted that he and Netanyahu were planning to meet “fairly shortly,” but he did not provide further specifics about the timing or agenda.

Thank you Matzav for continuing to cover up what the rest of us all see… Trump is the one who pushed Netanyahu into accepting the same deal Biden was pushing for months…. in the end, he is no better for Israel than Harris/Biden/ Obama. Maybe worse, cause people actually think he is a friend.
People thought, no one thinks good about him anymore.
Very disappointed with trump. He said that if the hostages are not rereleased by the time he is inaugurated all hell will break. Well 3 hostages for so many murderers is not a deal!!! Hamas started they don’t deserve to have of theirs released. And all of our hostages retuned in one week!!!! That’s not justice. Look how Hamas is celebrating their victory!!!! I really thought he will be fair to Israel.
DeSantis never would of pressured Israel.
